Walking into the first annual Great Lakes Surf n’ Turf event at Flagship Speciality Foods & Fish Market on Red Arrow highway, we were sidetracked by a table filled with small, dark green glass bottles labeled as “Fruitbelt.” Endlessly curious about any new edible products, the hubs and I were more than happy to take them up on their offer to sample these curious tonics made with apple or cherry, bitters, honey, and a variety of botanicals. One perfectly bubbly but not too sweet sip and I instantly knew these would become a staple offering at Camp Navama year round. Sip ’em solo, in a cocktail, or whip up one magical mocktail like this one, which drinks like a sparkling cherry lemonade. Cheers all around!
